Teaching
Pedagogy and research supervision
I am committed to practices of active learning and bring a feminist understanding to all of my teaching on gender, conflict and security. I am currently supervising several Undergraduate as well as post-graduate dissertations. I am open to PhD applications in the fields of International Relations, Critical Security Studies, Transnational LGBTQ Politics, Critical Peace Studies, Decoloniality, Feminist Security Studies, and Gender Studies. I became a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy in November 2021.
I am currently focusing on a British Academy Fellowship and unable to supervise additional students. Beginning in Fall 2023 I will once again be able to supervise projects exploring questions of Gender, Peace and/or Security as well as those with a focus on a Queer analysis of International Relations.
